After a transition to a new company and new position, Chris was looking for an updated profile photo for LinkedIn. I have high expectations for my work so if a client doesn’t get the result they want from our session, I offer one free re-shoot. The first series was with stubble and it wasn’t the look he wanted so he asked for a retake after he’d grown a bit of a beard. No problem honey! (This client happens to be my husband and the location he chose was our back step)
I’ve included a screenshot of what this looks like on his LinkedIn page because the circle frame is a lot different than the square.
The other screenshot I’ve got here is a look at the image with and without retouching. I prefer unedited images because I love the marks and the lines and the history on people’s faces. I offer very limited (as shown here) skin touch-ups and for an additional fee will remove temporary blemishes, cuts or mosquito bites. In this case, the client chose an image without retouching of any kind.
- The circular frame of LinkedIn is such an important consideration during a headshot session.
- Slight skin softening and iris enhancing.
- No Edits. Both mine and the client’s preference in this case.
